The music ministry at Viewmont Baptist Church is a very important part of the church’s identity. The vitality and quality of music continues to be an integral part of the life of this church. The music ministry’s commitment to excellence is taught, sung and played in worship and in the weekly rehearsals.
The Congregation makes up the largest choir at VBC. Singing together about our journeys of faith as a body of believers is one of the most important tasks a church can undertake. It is important to sing a broad spectrum of music that enables individuals to feel that they are a part of the history of the Church, as well as the present and future part of the Church. Participation in this group is strongly encouraged and supported! Everyone, members and non-members, are encouraged to participate in the musical life of this church. If you are interested in talking about the music of Viewmont Baptist Church and your level of participation, please contact our Pastor of Music and Worship.

Viewmont Adult Handbell Choir
Viewmont Adult Handbell Choir is a vibrant, dedicated group of folk who take the art of handbell ringing seriously. They rehearse weekly and play frequently in the worship services and at other venues. This five-octave choir rings many different kinds of music and has a wonderful repertoire.
Wind Ensemble
The Wind Ensemble is for high school students and adults. They rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 5:45 pm and assists in worship service 8 – 10 times during the year.
Children’s Choirs
Children’s Choirs are an extremely important part of the children’s ministry at VBC. We have choirs for 4 & 5 years old, first and second grade, and third through fifth grade. Led by wonderful directors and workers, these children learn to love music and learn about God and the Church through music. The older choirs sing in worship periodically and also work on seasonal programs throughout the year.
